What should I expect from this venue?
Shades of Green is a beautiful venue hidden away in the middle of Helena. This venue is 100% outdoors, filled with incredible cottonwoods and other various foliage with some semi-covered areas. Plan on bringing jackets as we all know Memorial Day weekend plants itself firmly in the rainy (and sometimes snowy) season! In the event of rain/snow, there will be a tent set up to protect the evening festivities from becoming a wet t-shirt competition! If the forecast is clear, we will be partying under the stars, but cold-weather attire is still certainly advised! The venue includes some older wooden play equipment, and a small campfire that will provide warmth and play a crucial part in making a s'mores bar that would blow Ham and Small's socks off. We will also be providing some activities for kids of all ages so they can get out their wiggles!
What should I expect for food and drink?
For dinner we will be providing all the fixings for a taco bar! We will be keeping the ingredients separate, but we will not be providing any specialty foods such as gluten or lactose free ingredients so you are encouraged to avoid those ingredients or feel free to bring your own should you have dietary restrictions.
For drink, we will be providing alcohol in the forms of beer and wine and we will provide some non alcoholic options including but not limited to water and soda.
